It has been a bit of a journey since high school. After working for 3M for 5 and a half years I headed off to Zaire (DR Congo now) for a two year short term. After coming back I worked for a short time but then headed back to Zaire again. This time as a long term missionary. I met my now wife there in 1993. When we couldn't return there after the civil war in 1996-97 we went to Central African Republic and served there in two different places. Then after that we ended up in Yaoundé Cameroon in 2010 where we worked at Rain Forest International School till we retired last year. I was the Director of Technical Services and taught Industrial Arts classes and Janet was the Guidance Counselor. We have three kids, each born in a different country. Zaire, USA and Central African Republic. And now there are two grandchildren. |
